Your sim’s graffiti ability is linked to their painting skill – the higher their painting skill level, the more types of graffiti they are able to do. Completing a piece of graffiti takes a few hours but you can get other sims to help you.

This densely populated city has enough unique neighborhoods to give.

Completed murals will add a decorated atmosphere to any room, but will deteriorate over time. If you dislike a mural, you can deface it and gain mischief skill at the same time. Your sim can restore any mural that has begun to deteriorate or has been defaced, even if it is of a higher level than your sim’s painting skill.

Sims 4 Mural Locations

You can find ready placed mural spots in the following locations:

  • The square of the Spice Market, near the Waterside Warble
  • There are two floor mural spots in the main square of the Arts Quarter
  • There is a floor mural spot and a wall mural spot in the back garden of the Casbah Gallery in the Arts Quarter

You can also buy a floor mural spot, a wall mural spot, or garage doors to place in your property or on any public lot where there is space. Floor and wall mural spots cost $135, whereas the two types of garage doors both cost $750. You can walk over floor murals but you can not place furniture on top of them.

Sims 4 Mural Unlocks with the Painting Skill

Your sim is able to start the following wall or floor mural styles at the following levels:

  • Level 1 – Spray Graffiti, Political Mural, Cultural Mural
  • Level 3 – City Mural
  • Level 5 – Nature Mural
  • Level 7 – Optical Illusion Mural
  • Level 9 – Figure Mural

Your sim can work on murals of a higher level than they have painting skill in, as long as they have already been started by another sim. They can also restore defaced or deteriorated murals of a higher level.
